"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

Its very disappointing when you upload like 10 new art works, and you expect all the Deviantart community to ooh and aah about your artistic finesse, and then it doesn't happens and everyone just pretends they don't notice. Well fuck them, and pencil scans very badly.
